How to Join DMM
The DMM Platform is a collaborative space for researchers, professionals, and engaged citizens working on the transition to more sustainable and socially just mobility. Joining the DMM community means becoming a DMM Citizen.
Who can join?
We welcome participants from all countries who are actively involved in or studying the mobility transition. This includes:
- Researchers and academics in mobility, transport, and urban studies
- Urban planners, architects, and policy makers
- Representatives of mobility associations and industry
- Engaged citizens with relevant experience (dedicated cyclists, EV drivers, etc.)
What does membership involve?
As a DMM Citizen, you will have access to all four modules of the platform:
- PULSE — participate in the annual mobility survey
- STORY — share and read narratives about innovative mobility practices
- BRIDGE — access research reports and contribute to the dialogue between theory and practice
- NEWS — stay up to date with global mobility transition news
How does the process work?
Membership is not automatic. Each application is reviewed by the DMM Commission, a group of experts nominated at the T2M conference (Eindhoven, November 2026). Here is how it works:
- Fill in the registration form with your name, email, country, and professional profile
- Your application enters a waiting queue and is reviewed by the DMM Commission
- You will receive an email informing you whether your application has been approved or declined
- If approved, you gain full access to all modules of the DMM Platform
