PULSE

PULSE is the annual survey module of the DMM Platform. It collects quantitative data from national vanguard panels — groups of participants who reflect the main stakeholders of the mobility transition.

Who are the panel members?

• Motorists hesitating to change their mobility behaviour
• EV drivers
• Dedicated cyclists and pedestrians
• Policy makers
• Representatives of industry and mobility associations

What does PULSE measure?

PULSE captures quantitative indicators of the transformation towards more sustainable and socially just mobility, complementing the narrative accounts collected in STORY.

Current status

The first PULSE survey is planned for 2026. Panel composition and methodology are currently being defined by the DMM Secretariat.
